Electrical Project Manager

Position: Full-Time | Non-Union

Schedule: Generally 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; additional availability may be required based on project needs

Position Summary

Gumpher, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to manage commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from turnover through completion and closeout.

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall financial and operational success of assigned projects and will work closely with customers, field leadership, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from award through completion and closeout
• Review contracts, scopes, drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets and cost projections
• Monitor labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and other project costs
• Manage project billing, change orders, and supporting documentation
• Coordinate material procurement and project schedules
• Maintain communication with general contractors, owners, field leadership, and internal teams
• Identify project risks and proactively address potential issues
• Monitor job profitability and provide accurate cost-to-complete projections
• Participate in project meetings
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change events, and project correspondence
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and within budget
• Support project closeout, final billing, and collection efforts

Qualifications

• Electrical construction experience strongly preferred
• Previous construction project management experience preferred
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and contracts
• Strong financial and analytical skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
