Position Summary
Gumpher, Inc. is seeking a dependable Warehouse & Material Delivery Driver to support our electrical construction operations.
This position will primarily be responsible for transporting materials, tools, and equipment between our warehouse, vendors, and active job sites throughout the region. When not making deliveries, this employee will assist with general warehouse and shop operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials, tools, and equipment
- ·Deliver and pick up materials from active construction sites, vendors, and suppliers
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Verify materials against delivery and pickup documentation
- Coordinate deliveries with warehouse personnel, project teams, and field personnel
- Assist with receiving and organizing incoming materials
- Stage materials and equipment for upcoming deliveries
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse/shop environment
- Assist with inventory and material organization
- Perform required inspections of assigned company vehicles
- Maintain required driver documentation
- Follow applicable DOT requirements and company safety procedures
- Assist with general warehouse and shop duties when not driving
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL required
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles
- Ability to safely lift, move, load, and unload construction materials
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and adjust to changing delivery priorities
- Previous construction, warehouse, delivery, or material-handling experience preferred
- Forklift experience/certification is a plus
- Familiarity with electrical construction materials is a plus
